Event Description

Artistic Portland will be featuring fall art, fashion and frightful fun at their First Thursday Art Walk on October 6, 2016 between 4-6 pm. Now that the art Co-op has adopted the rescued Piano. Push. Play. called Mitsuko, they expect that a suitable player will be selected to provide musical entertainment. All are welcome to chat with the artists in attendance about their art and process. Light refreshments will be provided.

Visiting vendor, Eastside Distilling, will provide adult beverage tastings also available for purchase. Burnside Bourbon, Marionberry Whiskey, Below Deck Rums, and Potato Vodka are just a few of their specialties.

In addition to finished art, the Co-op also offers art classes in October including: Landscape Photography by Peter Phu Ho, Crayon Meditation by Ben Gilbert and Introduction to Weaving by Sherry Bingaman.

The artists’ co-operative initially opened its doors in the Hollywood District in May 2013 and subsequently the 50 artists expanded to its current 2,700 sq. ft. location at 318 SW Taylor Street in Downtown Portland on June 1, 2015.
