Artistic Portland is "Living Local” by offering two of Portland's unique guests to the Co-Op for an evening of refreshments and art at the First Thursday Art Walk on June 2, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
In between the local artists, there will be wines from D'Anu Wines and Oregon Bark chocolates will be available for tastings and purchase, as well as a medley of toffee topped with Washington cherries. Coffee lovers can stop in and sample Stumptown coffee and Oregon hazelnuts or locally roasted cacao nibs.
Tastings and refreshments will be served and also present will be many of Artistic Portland’s nearly 50 artist members. The Co-op’s artists will be available to answer any questions visitors may have regarding their art.
The art co-operative initially opened its doors in the Hollywood District in May 2013. While successful there, the 50-member artists’ co-operative expanded to its current 2,700 sq. ft. location at 318 SW Taylor Street in Downtown Portland on June 1, 2015.
