Taken with my cell phone camera last Wednesday evening. I believe the plume on the right is from the "back fire", which was set to burn towards the fire burning up the combustible material.

About Me:
I was born in Portland and grew up in the SE part of town. I went to grade school at William Clark and graduated from Marshall High School.
What do you love about Portland?
In addition to it being home, I love the sights, sounds, smells, people, parks, down town, neighborhoods, events etc.
My music:
Blues, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Lucinda Williams, Mark Knopfler, anything with a great guitar run.
What's your favorite Portland neighborhood and why?
West Hills above Washington Park. Once I got my drivers license, I loved driving up to the castle above Washington Park.
Favorite quote:
Picasso: I start with an idea and it becomes something else.
