Hi! Let me first say that I love the site, the community, and the blog. I've been subscribing to the blog since long before I actually made it to Portland, and I look forward to it every week!

But this ha really been bothering me--I came to Portland from Louisiana, where, as I'm sure you know, Mardi Gras is a big deal. That's why I cringe every time I see that "S" at the end of "Mardi" in a blog post. No S! Just a heads up.

Keep up the awesome work!

How can I get my business listed under your rental resources for apartments? I emailed you a couple of weeks back but have not received a response.

Thanks!

Portlander,

Hi, how are you? I am good. I am interested in moving to the city and thought I would contact you because you look friendly... Can you tell me more about Portland?

And I don't know if you've ever visited or lived in Philadelphia, or Burlington, VT, but I would be interested in seeing how they compare to Portland?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Yeah I was just snapping away at the ship it from inside the max window, and I didn't realize there was someone in the frame so perfectly until I got home...then thought his jacket was what MADE the picture, ya know? :) And the ship being that way was just odd.
